Lake Jennings is where we store imported water before it goes to our treatment plant. It’s also the best place to go camping, with tipi, kayak and boat rentals, and renowned fishing.
We partnered with Otay Water District to build The Water Conservation Garden, and we continue to provide funding, so you can see the beauty of water efficient landscaping.
HARRY GRIFFEN PARK
Not many people know that Harry Griffen Park sits on top of our largest reservoir tank, and that we help fund the park’s maintenance.
We show thousands of elementary school students each year how we treat drinking water and how to conserve.
HELIX WATER TALKS
Helix Water Talks is our new series of facility tours and panel discussions to give customers an inside look at how we provide a safe and reliable water supply – from the science and engineering to policies and operations.
We support our employees who take an interest in a good cause in a community we serve, especially when that cause benefits our water supply and water quality. If you see people wearing matching “Helix Helps” t-shirts, that’s us.
