Dependent contributions for the Anthem Blue Cross plans are scheduled to begin in 2021 and increase annually in 2022 and 2023
The employee may participate in an optional 457 deferred compensation plan to set aside additional retirement income. We match up to $2,500 per calendar year in a 401a plan for “new” CalPERS members and up to $1,000 per calendar year for “classic” members.
The District contracts with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) with the retirement formula of 2% @ 62 for new members and 2.5% @ 55 for existing “classic” members.
