Earlier this week, a Helix customer reported that a person requested entry to their home to test their water due to a water quality concern.

These requests are not coming from Helix Water District. Our water continues to meet all federal and state drinking water standards.

Door-to-door impostors sometimes pose as utility workers to gain entry or access into unsuspecting victims’ homes. Imposters may claim they are a Helix employee or a contractor for Helix water. Helix does not contract with vendors to go inside your home. If you are ever unsure, ask to see the person’s Helix ID card; all of our employees carry one.
